นกแก้วซันคอนัวร์ เป็นนกที่มีนิสัยขี้เล่น ซุกซน และตื่นตัวอยู่ตลอดเวลา เป็นนกที่เข้ากับคนได้ดี สามารถนำมาฝึกให้เชื่องได้โดยเฉพาะถ้าเริ่มเลี้ยงตั้งแต่เล็กๆ เป็นนกที่เข้าใจภาษาคนได้ดี เสียงร้องค่อนข้างดังและต่อเนื่อง
นกแก้วกรีนชีคคอนัวร์ ลักษณะเด่นคือมีปีกสีเขียว หัวสีดำ หางเป็นสีแดงสด เป็นนกขี้อ้อน ขี้เล่น รักและห่วงเจ้าของ ชอบกัดแทะ ดังนั้นเราจึงห้ามไม่ให้เอานิ้วแหย่เพื่อความปลอดภัยนั่นเอง

The Green-Cheeked Conure is distinguished by its green wings, black head, and bright red tail. This bird is affectionate, playful, and very attached to its owner. It loves to nibble, so for safety reasons, we advise against sticking fingers near it
